New illustrations just dropped 🫳

Hey Reader!

I hope you're well this fine day, and after this email, I hope it's even finer!

The latest illustration collection from CNVS is here, and it's a lovely combo of uber useful, and uber festive.

First up...

Cards, frames and borders

Despite having over 200+ containers, I realised I hadn't made anything significant to support the most common dimensions 🤦‍♀️.

An oversight now corrected! Inside this collection there are at least 16 styles for each ratio, and some corner edges you can move freely for any dimensions.

  • Pocket sized cards (poker ratio)
  • 16:9 (slides)
  • 4:3 (slides)
  • A4 (print)
  • Square (common)
  • Corner edges (flexible)

Enjoy adding some hand-drawn goodness to your slides and print-outs!

Ramadan collection

With the month of Ramadan coming to a close, I’ve added some new illustrations to help share the spirit of Eid al-Fitr (Festival of breaking the fast) for this year and those to come.

  • Ready-made greetings for Ramadan, Iftar, and Eid.
  • Community scenes featuring fast-breaking and prayer.
  • Islamic symbols and traditional objects.

So if you're planning on sending a greeting to a colleague on Slack, or designing a team Miro board, these icons make it easy to add some human-touch visuals to your message.

To those of you participating: I hope your celebrations are filled with full hearts, good food and excellent company. Eid Mubarak 💛

Bug Fixing

Not much to report other than I removed some weird duplicates of the numerical labels, building block shapes and Halloween illustrations.

I couldn't find the problem anywhere else, but it if you spot them, let me know!

"CNVS has changed the way I think about workshops and presentations.
I first started using CNVS to enhance slide decks, then I updated my website and made some more slides… but once I started working with them in Miro the collection really came to life!"

- Sabrina Welds-Adewumi

That's it for today! Hope the update sparked some curiosity and creativity

Talk again soon,

Hey Reader! Greetings from a post-snowy Amsterdam - what a week! The smallest sight of a snowflake and the country collapses 🙈. But even in amongst airport shutdowns and bike lane ice rinks, my awesome sister still made it to Amsterdam for a long weekend 🙌. Certainly a super way to start the year is to spend time with someone who makes you feel top notch - especially if they're someone you can be a bit silly with. If you’re also feeling overdue for some proper one-to-one time with a sibling...

Hey Reader, Happy New Yeeeeeaaaaaaar!! 🥳 🥂 🎇 Ahhhh, the second day of January 🥰. Got to love the smell of a fresh chapter! And as we turn the pages from one to another, I wanted to send some love and appreciation from the forests of Stromberg. I've been thinking about how a lot can change in 365 days. There have been quite some lower points, in amongst some medium-highs this year. But something that has consistently kept me fuelled is the genuine joy I take from designing CNVS, and the...

Hey Reader, I'm just finished making your Christmas gift and I'm a bit giddy with being reminded how easy it was to make a fairly simple Miro board look good with CNVS. Other than the card designs themselves, this board took me less than an hour to make from scratch. Less. Than. One. Hour. Mission success for 'creating a toolkit that makes designing visual workshop canvases easy and fun' I'd say! Granted, I design for a living, so my cursor does move across the board with speed. But still, I...
