CNVS on merch, on cards and on boards 🙌

Hey Reader,

I don't know about you, but November is flashing by unbelievably quickly over this side 😅.

Before it ends I wanted to check in with a little update, including a cool teaser of things I've been working on...

Next event - CNVS Christmas cards

The postcard-making session the other week was a lot of fun - the board (above) still makes me smile 😊.

Next up: we’re taking that same playful energy and turning it into Christmas cards.

So if you fancy getting a little ahead of the festive curve and creating some thoughtful surprises for your team, friends, or clients… come join in and we’ll make them together!

Speaking of special things to buy this Black Friday, shout-out to my good friend Said Saddouk who got his 'creative cap' on and used CNVS for his freshly launched merch collection. It. Looks. EP.IC!

And it’s also a lovely reminder that CNVS can wander way beyond Miro boards and social posts.

Teaser: Cards

I've been working on some borders and frames for card decks for a special project... They'll come in different ratios and be rotatable.

It's a bit abstract for now, but if you like designing cards for games or conversational prompts, this is going to be a real nice update!

Teaser: Orthographic Paths

Similar to the isometric paths, there was a request to create top-down versions (thanks James!). These are coming along nicely and bring many benefits:

  • Plot your workshops or other content along visually guided paths
  • Choose from linear, branching or circular journeys
  • Style it as a road, canal, or colour-highlighted path
  • Less 'empty space' in the image file than the isometric paths - this means they're easier to work with in tools like Miro or Canva whiteboards.

Super duper, that’s a halloumi wrap for today.

Have a gorgeous rest of your week, and I hope I’ll see you (and your mug of mulled wine?) at the festive event next week.

Lucie

Hey Reader! I hope you're well this fine day, and after this email, I hope it's even finer! The latest illustration collection from CNVS is here, and it's a lovely combo of uber useful, and uber festive. First up... Cards, frames and borders Despite having over 200+ containers, I realised I hadn't made anything significant to support the most common dimensions 🤦♀️. An oversight now corrected! Inside this collection there are at least 16 styles for each ratio, and some corner edges you can...

A vibrant game in Miro with a stage, audience and lots of fireworks

Hey Reader! Greetings from a post-snowy Amsterdam - what a week! The smallest sight of a snowflake and the country collapses 🙈. But even in amongst airport shutdowns and bike lane ice rinks, my awesome sister still made it to Amsterdam for a long weekend 🙌. Certainly a super way to start the year is to spend time with someone who makes you feel top notch - especially if they're someone you can be a bit silly with. If you’re also feeling overdue for some proper one-to-one time with a sibling...

Hey Reader, Happy New Yeeeeeaaaaaaar!! 🥳 🥂 🎇 Ahhhh, the second day of January 🥰. Got to love the smell of a fresh chapter! And as we turn the pages from one to another, I wanted to send some love and appreciation from the forests of Stromberg. I've been thinking about how a lot can change in 365 days. There have been quite some lower points, in amongst some medium-highs this year. But something that has consistently kept me fuelled is the genuine joy I take from designing CNVS, and the...
